It's got to be the filter(s) since you had the same problem with another pump. I have a little fountain pump, 3/4 in tubing, 2 ft waterfall and my flow is fine. It's easy to check, just bypass the filter and see how your flow is then.

also, i'm sure you did... but if your adaptor (nipple) for the outhet hose is teired and takes 1/2" hose up to 1" or 1&1/4" (as some do). make sure you've cut the nipple to the size hose your using. a 1/2" opening into a 1" hose will still cause some flow reduction.... chances are its the filter, or a clog in the system maybe in the pump itself.

Never thought of that, whoops. Thank you.

That pump comes with a large nipple that cannot be cut, it is sized for the Becket flex pipe they sell. With that recommended pipe, the flow is 1150 GPH. It has to be the filter or other claptrap in the line.
I recently had a check velve clogg after 2 years of stuff flowing through it. Pain in the ass to clean but now it flows again.

o.k ..I'm not familiar with that pump or it's fittings...but the same goes on the pressure filter and / or,or u.v inlet and outlets if theyre teired... make sure they're cut at the appropriate size....

I cut the adapters on the filter down, that increased the flow from the waterfall by about 40%. Thanks everyone.

Great!

I would personally use a stronger pump to get the look you want with your waterfall... but your filter probably can't take a higher flow. If you split the flow and have some go through your filter then to the waterfall and a portion of the flow go straight to your waterfall you can get a stronger pump and you will get the flow you desire from your waterfall and still have the proper flow going through your filter. Just my opinion... good luck.
