Correction I did not use Quick Cure, I used General Cure which after reading the label again contains Praziquantel..,.whew. I did buy Quick Cure today for the rest of the pond, but you don't think it will work, I will return it.

General Cure contains: 250 mg Metronidazole and 75 mg Praziquantel per packet. I also moved to a 40 gal QT since I was told the 10gal. was not big enough. There is plenty aeration from a larger aerator I also bought.

Basically just spent $200 to potentially cure a fish I paid $25 for last year....

most people say you need 10 GL for every inch of fish in a pond. so a 4 in fish would be find in a 40 GL tank. but that can be stretched a little as well. maybe up to a 6 in fish in 40GL. but really it all depends on the filter setup on the tank. if its a new filter with out the good bacteria then i would get some bacteria from my pond to put in there to get the filter working.

10 gallons for every inch of the ADULT fish--not the fish that you buy at fingerling size. So, assume your koi will grow to be 18-20 inches. That is what you account for.

of course when your planning how many fish to add to your pond i was just saying i think a 10GL tank is to small for any koi.

Well, its now a 40 gal tank. Plenty large enough for my guy for what I hope to be 1 week. He is moving around much better this morning. I think I caught this just in time.

There is no filter in this tank. There is a pump, but the filter has been removed per instructions the meds came with. I also have an aerator pumping plenty of air in there.

Later today I will do a 25% water change in the QT and add more meds to make sure any offspring of the flukes are also killed, per instructions.

Has anyone ever used "EM Erythromycin Powder Packets"? I was thinking of also treating my sick guy with this after I am done with the General Cure, just to make sure he is 100%.....any ideas? Will he become a drug addict? Will I become a pusher?
