Thank you very much watergardener, jw, addy and gbbudd 🙏🙏

Hugely appreciated.

It’s given me some ideas to try and get this in check:

Will get some prime and triple antibiotic tomorrow and get hoovering.

In addition to working on the underlying issue - number of fish and improved filtration.

Thanks all so much again - I have some direction now as to what to do 🙏👍👍

Ease up on feeding , 20 percent water changes every week. Not sure why on thay side of the pond that raised ponds rule. VACUUM anything on the bottom.
Never heard of a raised ponds rule 🤔

Thanks very much 🙏

Hi all,

A couple of questions. Your help would be hugely appreciated 🙏

- UV steriliser - will that be helping or hurting the situation right now (still trying to wrap my head around the different elements of the nitrogen cycle 🤦‍♂️)

I’ve just been out there doing a thorough vacuum and removing all silt or debris from the bottom of the pond.

This in the middle pond:

A mass of roots, silt, living plant, dead plant. Should I do something with that?
