Since he installed the tank so close against the house it flooded the whole side to mud and 2ft of pond dropped. We checked the foundation worried of leaks and seem to be ok but I don't want to wake up to another mudslide. I'm going to be so stressed the next 2 days!
There have been many surprises I found with this house. Bahaha.Don't you just love the little surprises that appear after buying a new home?
I wouldn't try to fix the tank. Buy a new one.

The filter should be coming in tomorrow. The waterfall returning is helping a lot and for some odd reason.. The water looks cleaner???? All I did was move the intake hose into the bio stock tank since the waste tank cracked.
Hose got clogged and had so much pressure it just shot out when I tried relieving it. I had to get escorted into house and hit the shower immediately. I think I'm done with skippy maintenance.. LOL.

No reason you can't keep using them.
The stock tank only had a couple of pvc pipes sticking out and 1 inlet hole which had to get unscrewed. It's sitting in my backyard right now.A face full of gunk
Sadly for you its addictive ask anyone here and sadly skippy maintenance has to be carried out on a regular basis .
Before you go replacing things have you stripped the old filter down to brass tacks ?
