Gee! I'll say it's growing nicely! You'll be yanking and tossing before the year is out!
I might be splitting and expanding. Thinking we need another one for additional plants we want and more filtration.

Picked up a few more plants for the pond and 2nd bog. Excited to get started on the secondary bog. We picked up 2 Canna lilies, 4 calle lilies, 3 Spiderworts, an umbrella plant, 3 corkscrew rushes, a few more hyacinths, some frogbit and a few marginal grasses

Started working on the waterfall over the weekend and I was able to test the pump for the first time. It does have the power to pump the water up the hillside. I was able to get all the major work completed so it will be first run test ready tomorrow. I don't anticipate it to be pretty but it should function.
The waterfall filter is pretty empty at the moment in terms of filter media...blank slate for now lol. But honestly what's the first advice people get with their waterfall filters setup the way the vendor intended, gut it.

Doing a little initial testing. There's enough power from the pump to either do a better more creative job of hiding the hose (more distance) or use a ball valve to throttle it. I think I will go the ball valve option since I will want to run it down the right side of the tree once I have more liner and dispensable funds. Lol excuse the foam with a large dog I was a little excessive with it. I plan to go back and paint it.

It looks like you have a lot of splashing down the right side on those large boulders, but I'm sure you already have plans for how you're going to tweak things. It is looking very good!!

That split liner makes me very nervous - do you have plans to contain the water there?

Signed,
Nervous Nellie
Lol at signature...very fitting though with this being a clay and sand hill. I do I am going to use roofing sealant and the rubber liner wraps around the tree to help protect it. It is my main concern next to decreasing the flow. Under less flow it actually does not hit the front side of the tree. We also intend to sew down the split to reinforce it a bit since there is no need for it to be water tight.
