well it has been close to two months since the shoulder operation.PT is really the hard part.
So it is winter time ,yet we got hit with a heat wave a tropical heat wave, lol. And I went ahead and took the net off for the winter,as all my lovely flying friends have left the building ,haha.
Anywho let me bore you with some pics I took yesterday.
I just love my poster boy for TETRA POND FOOD.HEHE
As long as they come up to eat and the weather is kinda warm, then I see nothing wrong with a few bits of food.I have done this successfully for years without any bad effects on the fish.
I really think that having the northwest side of the pond blocked with grass and evergreens really helps keep the wind off them.
Boy is it hard to get these guy's to sit still for a picture, they act like they got ants in there pants, lol

Pictures are NEVER boring! Love to look at pictures, love your fish, all happy and warm, and eating up a storm! You are so lucky to have warm weather!

Sissy, it's OK to take a break, pond will be slowing down now anyhow with winter coming, take time to take care of yourself too, you have enough to worry about and don't need to stress. I went though that with my hubby in September and October, thought I was going to die of a heart attack, was worried sick, but now he is on his way to getting better, and when your hubby gets through this, you will feel better too! Stay strong! Hugs and love and well wishes to you Sissy!

+JOIN ME IN A BIRTHDAY CUP OF MORNING JOE, :goldfish: So I decided the best place to celebrate is by the pond.Where all life started from.
I tried a new tech this year.I decided to run a pump along the waters surface against the {heater} and North wind.PERFECT my lilltle experiment is working, keeping the surface open even on 20 minus days, which yes we get and will get in a few more days.
I did what Addy1 suggested and added a liner on the water fall egde for protection,THEY LOVE IT. I just draped it over the rocks, and boom it works well.I did that back in the summer.Thank you sweettie!!!!!!
Any case THANK YOU ALL FOR STOPPING BY.I need another cup of joe.

Diggin good to hear your plan is working!

No coffee for me but I'll have some hot chocolate and talk about running late today......... I spent the whole day inside researching dead people for my family tree that I don't even know if I'm blood related to. Sent DNA sample in to see if I am related to anyone else on this earth to ancestry.com.

You two girls up there............sissy and Colleen behave yourself now
