Strange how some birds are very social and like to group up ,but others like to be loners .I guess some don't like to share food

Nice pix of the birds and lovely flowers remind me Summer so long ago it seems. Looks so warm and nice there compared to here even if you are having a cool down.

In that fist picture, three birds were feeding, must have something good, because then the rest of the flock came to feed.

Tried to convince you to drive down from washington state to south florida, just a short jaunt!

I know, I know and it would have been wonderful. We have to do it tho, just get off our butts and go one of these days when you go again sometime.Drive our camper and go from place to place.

Oh boy he's a handsome looking devil isn't he? I like his cool looking hairdo

It was so neat looking, just stood there and stared at me, then a guy came walking up the beach with his dog, it took off. I had time to run back to the van and grab my camera, which of course you can never remember where you left it, grab a few shots before it flew off.

The night heron's territory was our campsite area, it hung out there every day, a range of 4 sites.

This was him a few days later, let me get within 10 feet.

This key is all state camp ground, state park. Totally booked, we just stopped in to check it out during our drive down the keys.
