Just got back from Lowes. I got one of those plastic 50 gallon "ponds" they sell. Cleared out enough room in my living room and am starting to fill it. I know technically I should I only put one of my large guys in there. But realistically, how many out of my five can I put in there for the next month. Especially if I am vigilant about changing the water? The only other alternative is death or giving them away.

I think if you kept it really clean and did partial water changes often you could keep them all if it's only going to be for a month. Remember to use some of their old water so it doesn't shock them using all new water and that way you will have some of the good beneficial bacteria in there to help start the cycle. If you have any big garbage cans you can use those for some also. Just rinse them out good w/o soap.
