different idea for cleaning pond?

My best idea for pond cleaning so far has been to make the pond as two basins divided by a bump. When full the water is above the bump and it is one pond. Pull the water down a ways and you can pump one empty with water in the other. Move the plants to one side and pump the water from the other. Take out what muck you can and then let the sun dry it. After that all you need is a broom and a dust pan.

to clean a pond you could just use a kiddy pool with a net over it and just use the water from the pond .But it is not really good to clean a pond like others have said
