Me glad i got trouts in my pond.
And sometimes "auto-correct" doesn't help! I try to proof before I send, so imagine my shock when I see that I've typed a there/they're/their or your/you're or its/it's misuse! Grrrr! And I agree about the plural possessives! And what about this Southern classic: y'all. It's Y'ALL [for you all], not YALL -- it's aleady a plural. So, I guess the PP of that is y'all's? Or y'alls? The plural is all y'all [LOL], so would the PP be all y'all's?In a word, YES! My latest rant is the misuse of the apostrophe and people who make every plural a possessive - "We have three dog's" or "I have a bunch of rock's and plant's". OH IT BUGS!
And the "professional" signs with mistakes are just the worst! I saw a truck with "Every day is Saturday when your retired" painted on the back. Apparently YOU'RE retired from spelling correctly, too! Typos I can understand, but people who do these things for a living should know better!
Phew... I feel better now!
Well, since I don't have "coys," my "shubumpkins" are in my goldfish pond. Their happy in there little world."shubumpkins" are those multi-colored fish that are in "coy" ponds way out in the country.
