I've never heard of a dolphin plant, Sissy! That's really different. And, oh my goodness, PeeWee may be short, but he sure is not small! Bet he rules the roost, and I think you said he does control your big dog, King Arthur (I think that's his name). Those little terrier types never think they are too small for anything!

Pee wee looks very handsome and warm in his little sweater! That fat little Poppy of mine is also so very tiny and small at a mere 60 pounds! Lots of it is fat, but more to snuggle cause I am so needy and cling to that fat poppy when tired, I swear she helps me sleep better!

He is just tad bit chunky but has the distinctive wrinkles around the face that the really wanted appleheads have and the chunky neck .Been keeping an eye on the dolphin plant and should Tesia and she told me they usually do not bloom until there 3 years old and a bigger plant and this came from a cutting Tesia took off her mothers plant

After snowstorm Virgil made his way through Illinois, this is what the goldfish and koi ponds look like. Thought this drift of snow that formed over the goldfish pond was interesting, especially since the stream is running under the middle of it!

For some reason the goldfish pond got totally covered in slushy snow, and the koi pond remained open. I suspect the koi pond had more water movement with the 4200 gph pump throwing water into the basket and then over the waterfall. Still not hooked back up to the Skippy, though. Goldfish pond has stream running and also the bog, which is the slightly open looking area at the far end of the goldfish pond in the previous photo.

Got the last 10 goldfish caught from the koi pond tonight, with a flashlight and net, in less than 30 minutes. Sooo excited. So, now all the goldfish spawning will happen in the goldfish pond this year, no interbreeding with koi for babies anymore. So, any koi babies will be full koi.
