After reading through your threads i don't think i am comfortable and or experienced enough to anesthetize my koi. The furthest treatment I've ever done to a fish is netting him up to the surface of the water and taking some q-tips and rubbing off the fungus and he cooperated very well and didn't flop around. Could I do this process without anesthetizing my koi? Or does it cause too much stress? Would you recommend this procedure to an unexperienced person over another form of treatment?Oil of cloves is a way of anethatizing your koi so that you can treat your fish hands on read the thread first and try to understand it if you cant either Turtlemommy or myself will walk you through the proceedure
Malachite green is a seperate chemical from an ich formalation Propolis is a by product of bees and is what keeps their hives healthy
You spray this over the wound after youve cleaned it out first with cotton buds ( one bud for one whipe until the fungus has been removed , another cotton bud to put the malachite onto the wound and propolis spray to kill off anything nasty that could infect.
