Corkscrew grass

I have my corkscrew grass in a floating planter that I made by cutting one of those floral arrangment rings in half and then used the mesh netting from the walls of a trampoline someone was throwing away for the basket part. You can make it to whatever depth you need it to be. I also plant a few in my stream bed that is more like a mini bog. All are doing great.

I like that idea Ryan. Hmmmmmmm, I suppose you could use anything that would float that would be buoyant enough to hold it up and attach a net under it.

Oh man, you don't know what you just did for me... Since last year, I've been trying to figure out a way to make a DIY skimmer for my lower pond, but I've been stuck on what to use for the float that had a nice shape, and a color that would blend in. I never even thought about those floral foam rings! Looks like I can start collecting pieces for my next project now. Thank you!
