I came across this site and thought the information might be helpful. It's a chart of common fish diseases. An oily fatty substance on the water could also mean predators. Hope it's ok to add the link to this sticky.

I just purchased some Wild Oregano oil and some Epsom Salt to hopefully treat what I believe is Pop Eye in a couple of my small goldfish. Am I on the right track and what might be the best way to apply these treatments if so?
