Cicadas are about to show up - any issues in your experience?

@Sophiemom Oh my! What chemicals did you put in the pond? Doubt that was from either spawning or the chemicals, but not likely from the cicadas. So sorry! If you test your water, what are the results of your tests (the number results, not “good” or “ok”.

Do you have little kiddos? Could someone have put soap in the water?

We had our water tested and they told us that everything was fine, nothing alarming . We still have no answers or a reason that everyone of our fish died during the night.

It‘s wild to think that with how close we live to one another that the emergence timeframe was that different. Lol I had one land on me while grilling last Sunday without me seeing it first and swore I was getting lit up by a bumblebee. Kids thought my reaction was hilarious.
