"When you are done." I like that. It could be so long before that happens. My son got stung on his butt by a wasp while we were out there yesterday. Poor guy didn't even tell me. I found it when I was giving him a bath this morning and he told me he didn't say anything b/c he wanted to stay outside longer.

Laughing we are never done with a pond. I was stung 3 times last summer, those suckers hurt. One got under my shirt and hit a very tender body part lol.

Poor kid...........they do hurt, and itch like crazy as healing. Mine took around two months for the redness to go away.

Well, we are at 6ft. x 12 ft. wide and about 1 ft. deep now. About to go do more digging. My son is having fun playing in the water today with his new sand toys (we haven't made it to get new sand this year yet). The wasps have left us alone so far. I couldn 't really give him anything special when I saw the sting b/c it was before 8 AM but the kid has more than I ever dreamed of. I did give him some cookies though. ; )

Oh, no. Daddy is in the house and cutting grass while we're doing this project. This is strictly Mommy and son.

So, I FINALLY got the liner, most of the plants and rocks, pump, and added decorations. Its not quite as big as planned but we're happy with it. I think I may have to take all the fish back out and give them to my sister though. I brought my son 6 ducklings home and I think they may want a snack when they're older. So, it may have changed from a goldfish pond to a minnow pond. lol

Oh, I'm thinking about making the furnture to go by the pond instead of buying a patio set. We have tons of bamboo at my mom's so I was thinking of using it to make some benches. The maybe using an old big piece of wood and cover it and treat it for the "table". Depending on my motivation, it could take a while.

That picture of your son and the ducks is adorable. I bet he loves his little ducks and your fish pond turned out great. Nice job.
