Ohhh I got it. Those are neat and so original!
Mmmmm Beeeer! ... oh wait.... crap.... I have to figure out my bog plumbing first.....darn it! Back into the fridge with you for now Moosehead. You thought it was going to be easy?.....Hahahahahahahahahaha
I can't blame you I told my wife that it would be easy too......poor little trusting soul bless her heart.
It's sucks but it IS worth it in the end. The beer that you are waiting for will take a bit to have but I promise
that it will be the best tasting beer ever. 3rd year in and we love it. The ppl here are great and helped me
through the ruff spots.
To a very nice rock yard! A ponders paradiseJust to be fair. I got an email from a friend. The title "Hard Rock Porn". Of course I opened it, she's a wack-a-doodle but not a sick twisty one. So I opened it and there were about 15 of these pictures. She really knows how to get me all worked up.. LOL Guess where I'm going Saturday???
Oh I know exactly what you mean!!!! I will never do this again.....the same way .... I will hire the dig and now know how to make it easier on myself!!! I can't build bigger at this house as I have a septic system. But do have plans for a small preform QT.There are times when I'm sitting by the pond that I think "building this thing was a sh*t ton of work! I would NEVER do this again!" But then a little voice inside my head whispers "who are you trying to kid?" Our three sons helped with the heavy lifting and digging - thankfully they all still speak to me...although the youngest occasionally shows signs of PTSD when he gets too close to the waterfall.
Alas, nothing but root beer.....diet at that.....
I think it's like childbirth amnesia..... Time (and joy ) can make you forget the bad parts .
Yes I just experienced that today and night as a small from stayed perfectly still 12" from me as I adjusted an underwater light near him. I loved watching him watch me.Alas, nothing but root beer.....diet at that.....

We where at Cabels and I spotted a nice size tractor there, I thought of yours and I wondered if my husband would spend 25,000 so I can dig a bigger pond in the future. I think not but he loves me anyway.Laughing, when I moved from Arizona, after building and leaving a 14000 gallon pond, 45 foot stream, waterfall, I had no intention of building another one here. Then my dear sweet honey bought me a tractor, what else do you do but build a pond (s).
I plan to do a pondless by my front door as soon as I can convince my husband the bushes are not pretty enough anymore!!!!It was just me and a shovel and axe to dig mine and wish i had rented something it would have been easier .next time it will be pondless and a stream if there is a next time
Oh don't get us started on our rocks....... I started salivating just looking at the picture!!!! I am a wack a doodle also, well a whole lot of us here are!!!! You will have to look up my thread on Rocks!! There are some people here who have great rocks!!Just to be fair. I got an email from a friend. The title "Hard Rock Porn". I just thought of that today as I drove by the Costco that is being built near me. I will be scouting when to build is almost done!!Sometimes when you think outside the box things can be found for free. While driving around, look around at new construction places. I got all my flat stone from where they built a new restaurant here in town. The exterior of the building was finished and they had like 3 large metal net cages of the stone left. One talk with the general contractor and I had all that I needed. All they can say is no.
My kids call it Grand Theft Rocking and say they can't go back to jail over a rock!!! They are 13 and 16 and the jail thing is a joke!I borrow rocks from my local streams and my sister has been hauled into this kind of search also
Yes you can...the baking part gets rid of the alcohol and leaves all the flavor...I make a chocolate amaretto cake that is yummy...also make a rum cake which you can make a family version or an adult version...but I digress...seems to be catching!Sorry -- never cared for Tiramasu, but Hubby's fave cake is Wedding Cake, made with Amaretto. I use "extract" of.... Can you use the real thing?
