Did you drill holes in the PVC pipe that you laid out in the bottom?

Yes I drilled holes and capped the ends. It seems like I'm getting a good flow all the way across. Some of the plants are not happy about their new growing medium. The elephant ear has completely wilted. Will see what happens.
The chimney flue liner was a third choice for a spillway. First couple of ideas didn't work out. I keep several in the pond for the fish to hide in.

The flue spillway to me realy adds some balance
