Now that is one smart bird there MW!
This bird is nothing really special to look at, it's what it was doing when I took the photo that was fascinating.
This was at a resort in the DR, this bird had a piece of bread and he (she?) was tossing it out into the shallow pond and then allowing the current to catch it and push it past him (her?). When all the small fish chased after the piece of bread, he'd (she'd?) snap them out of the water. Then he'd (she'd?)retrieve the piece of bread and repeat his (her?) "fishing" technique.
Don't know what kind of bird it is, but I do know that it's a smart one.
