Beginners stock tank pond

Heres an idea
My pond needs light at night
Well i dont really need to. But i wanna put
Any way
I dont want to use too much electricity
So i came up with this

Using the power of my water pump to turn this turbine and produce 12v electricity for an led string lights

This morning
They keep growing i will have duckweed for tilapias pretty soon

I encountered a bit of problem with my ibc tote
Not enough space

The window or opening for the pond is only 8 inchess

Whats the best way to clean drums ibc tote
I put water on my ibc tote throw in some guppies
In the morning they all died
I used soap to remoeved the algea and rinsed it before
I think i still have some soap maybe?
What can i use to clean it make it safe for the fish

What was in the tote before? scrubbing with baking soda and then rinse well may work but if there were toxic chemicals, I would avoid using it.

According to the guy that gave me it was being used as a raint gutter storaged had algee on it when i got it
I used dishwashing detergent to removed the algee
Probably didnt rinsed it good
This time ill use vinegar and salt to wash it with

Hehe looks healthy im going to transfer some of them on the ibc tote

Guppies and other small fishes just mixed them all up in there
Then tilapias at the bottom
