Yeah, they are all special but they seem to have their own personalities. Same thing with my turtles. One started to come up when I feed now, one sticks his neck out and the other won't even do that. The turtles have chosen the goldfish pond as their preferred pond so at least they are leaving my babies alone.

I read that Koi can start breeding (develope their reperductive organs) at between 8-9". Not sure if males could maybe start a little earlier but it looks like you shouldn't have waited as long to have special little talk with junior.

Well, a few weeks have passed. I've counted as many as 12 babies. I have 3 that are developing some color. The strange thing is that they are amoung the smallest. All seem to be doing well. What a bonus, I figured it would be a few years before a spawn.:(
