Auto Fill Feature

I am bad at measuring so I have always added a little when I add water.

I am happy to say our plans for next spring's expansion are going well (thanks to the forum). We have decided on 2 bottom drains, an external pump, skimmer, autofill feature, jets and the basic design/materials are coming together. We are going to wait on the UV light as I don't know that we will see much benefit (even with our poor design now we have almost crystal clear water, just a tiny tint from tannins)

If you are concerned about the tannins, add a charcoal filter and it will remove the tint. This is not something I would do but it is a possible solution if the tint bothers you.

I have a 5 lb bag of AC in my spill way and it seems to help but it is not "bottled water clear". At the same time we really don't have floating algae, just string algae which the UV won't help with anyway.
