I spent a good bit of time making scale model steam boats with my father in law and the advice we got from forums really helped so here is my hopeing to get the same help with another one of our joint passions, the fish pond.
When I was a teenager I made a pond in my mothers back garden, since then I have longed for a large Koi Carp pond and when my kids were old enough and my wife gave me the OK I was in the garden with the spade within minutes.
Lots of lessons learned with that one (5,000 Litres), most of all you get what you pay for, so I am joining this forum at the begining of the next phase - Enlarging to around 8,000 and adding shelves for more plants.
