Hi,

I have a temporary kiddie pool with all my plants until I fix my leaky concrete pond.

There are already things swimming in there... anyone know what these are?

Looks like mosquito larvae.

Ah great, now I am breeding mosquitoes. Oops. Should I throw some mosquito fish in there?

I have had great luck using Mosquito Dunks. You can get them lots of places.

Yuppers thems blood suckers add some water movement to this

Maybe put in an aerator to cause lots of water movement as like @GBBUDD they like very still waters. Putting fish in now will just complicate things for when you need to move them into the new pond that has not cycled for very long. You may need to add some fertilizer for those plants in the pool.
