Anacharis versus hornwort

I wish mine would. Seems like by the end of the year I have less, or at least the same as I started with.

I'm not sure why that is too. When I move some hornwort to my pond, it stoped growing and just gone ungly but the one in nature pond kept growing like crazy. The only different is my nature pond didnt have any type of filter or water circulation but it kept the water clear (and i had a few guppies and a betta in there and they survived just fine so the water must be ok).

I just received an order I placed for a dozen bunches of each of these plants yesterday. I was really impressed with how nice the plants looked. Pretty good price too.

Yea, I have some but needed to add more to my aquariums and the stock tank. My goldfish love to eat the anacharis and the hornwort is good for fry to hide in and gives them something to eat.

I keep some in my fishless ponds, then toss it into the ponds with fish to snack on, even with fish it does well.

That's a good idea, now if I just had a tank or pond without fish lol
Seriously though I just got a half barrel container for aquatic plants. I tossed in a few strands of each plant so hopefully it will keep me with a continuous supply
