Don't run really high concentrated chlorine through your pumps, it might damage them. I would scrub with the high concentrate then siphon or bail out the water then run the pumps with a milder solution to make sure you get all the virus or whatever killed your Koi. then get some feeders to re establish your bio system.

so do you think i should use bleach instead of pool chlorine. how much should i use for 350-400 gallons

i was going to scrub after cause i dont want to have to drain twice

I'm talking about the pond itself, the more debries, algae etc the more bleach required to neutralize anything in it.

If you can smell it in the solution, it is probably more than enough.

You have to sterilize everything or it may come back to haunt you. This includes nets, hoses, air lines, airstones, sponges used for cleaning, everything.
