my ztr broke and I've been mowing with a push mower all year, every 3-4 days. Wife wants me to get a landscaper but I don't mind mowing. just not enough time in a day.

With our hills no way would I use a push mower, even with a fast zero turn it takes me a few hours.

I mow about 2 acres with a 22" push mower for added exercise, but I'm getting too tired and too old doing it that way, especially since a good portion of it is not flat.

I have a cub cadet and a troy built when hubby did part of it he had a commercial cub cadet zero turn ,but I was not comfortable enough with it so sold it .I like the cub cadet better since it works better with short people .The troy built I have to stretch to reach the pedal .Trying to find a new seat for it so it can be adjusted closer .I love mowing it is relaxing at least I can sit while working .I wish some one would come up with a ride on with a pop out trimmer so you can trim while you mow .

Hi im Nate, and ive been using a push mower for 16 years.
thanks for letting me share.

Nate - the first one day old baby to be able to push a lawn mower. ;)

I don't mind pushing the lawn mower - it's good exercise. (Although talk to me in a few years...) I just don't like the fact that when the grass needs mowing it needs it now or else! Add a few weeks of lots of rain and it becomes a real chore.

...

That was my first thought too.:)

I mow maybe twice a year, whether it needs it or not.
I'm happy with the natural vegetation and grasses growing.
I am thinking of getting a goat, though.

I was going to buy a john deere since I get a discount but it is so hard to get parts when you need them .Had one gave it to my son and every time I need a part it would be 2 or 3 weeks ,well grass waits for no man or part
