Well I guess you are petless...........you sure you don't want a cute little pet monkey  Wow 5 books! You are doing good and I bet you will really be inspired living down there in the jungle. Do they let you have guns down there? I know you go down there often but be careful in your travels down that way as it can be a scary world nowadays full of surprises. Some of us hear Mexico and kind of get a shiver up our spine. I'm sure it is like anywhere else and has its safe places and not so safe. Praying God will be your guide :)

Guns are not allowed unless you are military, police or Cartel of course. We won't need one, as I said, once you have 200 miles in your rear view of the border, you are safe, just use common sense. Living there will not only be an inspiration to write, as far as getting the creative juices flowing, but there will also be a lot more time and a lot less stress.

Got the wheel bearings greased and contacted the Mexican Consulate. You can stay in country for 180 days on a regular tourist visa, but if you ant to stay longer you have to apply in your country of origin for an FM2. Show some documentation and register. Then you bring that paper to the nearest consulate in Mexico to get it finalized. Packing like crazy.

Happy trails to you Bullfrog as Roy Rogers used to say! We wanna hear how all goes getting down there and getting situated and what it's like living down there. Oh and pictures, pictures too. I bet you'll have a lot of stories to tell! Have a safe trip :D
