Some of our homes have rock roofs. It was a common thing back in the 60's and 70's. Houses that had cypress trees next to the eave had possom crap on the roof. They used the roof top as their bathroom.
I replaced the roof on my house back then and got rid of the trees that made the possoms find another place to live. I was surprised at how many possoms and raccoons we had. Growing up, I always thought they were an east coast critter.

Joann, LOL right after his breakfast feast :)

They are very cute, there weren't too many opossum as far north as I am about 20-30 years ago, you still don't see too many around where I am and it's pretty rural here. What a treat to be able to watch this little guy grow up!

Yes DL, is is a treat to have a wild animal, feel comfortable enough to hang
around and make himself a bed in a bucket in our little tool cabinet.

Last night we heard crash, bang, I turned on the light and there he was
on top of the BBQ...he knocked down the BBQ tools and was just sitting there.
I said, "POGO what are you doing?" He just looked at me, and then started licking
the side counter on the BBQ.

Mikey, I think his little pink nose adds to his charm,

This little guy snuck in the house one night and was watching me work. I thought it was a rat at first.

What a little one. How cute, did it sneak back out?
