I still have lotus I got from the abandoned pond but it did not do good in the pond last year so I put it in the stock tank

Sissy what do you have your Lotus planted in
I think i read that Addy plants hers in Kitty litter
I know i like the Clay kitty stuff from walmart that J.W. has posted about recently
It would be a double bonus to add clay slowly to the pond

Mine are in kitty litter, they did great. Walmart stuff. All my plants except the bog plants are in kitty clay.

mine are just in pea gravel and lava rock .On the bottom of the pots I have perlite to keep the pots lighter

They are not in my pond the plants are just to big for my pond and I gave a lot of them away and took a lot of them over to the other house as that pond is bigger .But that ponds a mess because the land is being cleared and the creek and the pond has to be crossed by the land clearing crew and they had to stop work because of muddy unsafe conditions
