Tips for better pics and videos of pond and fish? Post em!

Most of us use our phones for pics and videos and I've always struggled with non shaky videos.

I found this little guy on amazon:

Its a little over 15 bucks and very light but its also over 50 inches tell extended making videos a lot easier!

Do you have any tips for your fellow fish and wildlife watchers?

Have a camera .............always.............lol

Watch the background a lot of great shots are messed up with a messy background.

very healthy fishes runing around and nice patern colours !
im my self very bad in taking fish pics , i dont know if you have glare problem , here i cant take pic always
best time is earlier mid day when sun is on top , not at lower angle and some rays reaching water it enhances colours of fish , almost like glowing reds yellows .

Theres one photographer in the forum , i forgot his name he had long stream too , if u can tag him

Sometimes cloudy days give you great shots to, cuts the glare.
The best help is a polarizing lens, my big camera has one, dial it in and the fish show up wonderfully.

You know I was thinking if I turned off the bubbler during the shots it would be a lot clearer too.

If I want the best pictures I turn the pump off let all the ripples stop then snag shots. But usually too lazy for that...............
