How much sand would I put on base of the frame to sit my preformed pond on if the base of pond is 1 and quarter of inch of the floor and will it flatern when I fill it with warter

I would just buy some sand pour it in, set the preform, wiggle it a bit. See if you see the preform touching the sand, if not add a bit more until you see the pond impression on the sand.

Thank u was thinking putting about 2 inches of sand on floor then sit pond in it would that be to much
