Hi,

I have a problem with my water lettuce.Over the past 2-3 weeks the leaves have started yellowing. I don’t think it’s a nutrient issue because I have string algae that’s growing up a storm and my lilies are doing great. The pond is in semi shade during the afternoon so I don’t think it’s a too much sun issue. Someone suggested perhaps my small koi are eating the roots but they look like they have healthy roots and I dont see the fish bothering them.

and welcome @Paul M
Could be an iron deficiency. Not sure how to remedy this tho as they are free floating plants. If they were in a pot you could put a small ball of steel wool in the bottom. Maybe take them out and put them in a big tub for awhile and give them some iron or fertilizer and see what happens.
