Wonderful start to this week

While taking out the bagged trash to the curb this morning a stranger stopped his car then told me that he takes the long route to the highway just so he can see our yard and home every morning and afternoon. He went on to say how beautiful it is year round. Such a wonderful compliment. A great start to the week.

Always makes you feel rewarded for the hard work .I had joggers the other day who told me the only reason they jog down this road is so they can enjoy my yard and see if i have built any thing else .I was pulling weeds in the rocks on the hill .I try to do it every other day so they don't get a chance to spread .I guess we do not realize it because we see it every day and we see it as work at least that's what I see ,more work .Only time I see it differently is when I take pics of it .

That's wonderful!! Earlier this year I had two young girls tell me how nice my front yard looked. I wanted too invite them to the back yard to show them real beauty, of the pond but hmmmm, inviting young girls into the back yard just didn't sound right.

No one can see mine, sometimes I wish people could, but it keeps it and kids safe. Our street side view is a normal house with grass and some trees. No hint of a pond or flower gardens.

My pond is in the front but being up on a hill all they can see are the now huge banana plants .

Yes we all can. Our pond is surrounded by our back woods, a corn / soy bean field, all neighbors pretty far away. The critters love it.
