Window box bog redo

I have 11 window boxes around my one pond that I use as mini bogs. I have gutter guard and cut pieces of filter media and the boxes are clogging already.


I'm leaving the gutter guard in and putting window screen material to line the box and pea gravel as media.

Hopefully this will not clog as easily and I can just lift the screen out and put the plants in a stock tank for winter. I need to redo the spray bar but that can wait.

Nice! I bought 4 window boxes, smallish, to put around the new hot tub pond for filtering. They are still sitting in the kitchen. I need time. We should be done with Baltimore next week.
