i think you can call up the city and they will give you mosqueto fish. Of course that's different for everywhere. but give it a try call wildlife areas around as well someone in your area will know where to get them.
why bother if minnows already do it? my pond has 100s of minnows i wonder if they will take care of the larvae
sure anything will eat them but if there still there its a wonder your minnows haven't eaten them already
no i have not noticed anyt yet this year but i wanna make sure its safe my pond is like a swamp so far i havent been bitten once im hoping the rosey pet store minnows took care of them i have at least 200 right now in my pond will probably ahve 1000000 by the end of the summer my roomate is scared of west nile so im trying to convice her the minnows will stop it
yea i wouldn't worry to much. Is West Nile common there? i have some family there.

this is our pond its just rainwater in a pool we put fish in only cause of all the bugs
its 4 feet deep and full of algea and plants that grew on their own
if you don't want bugs why not just drain the rain water.
there were some frogs living in it before we didnt have the heart to ruin their "home" unless we really had to
well looking at that i would say you need to especially if West Nile is so common like you say.
regardless of the 1000s of rosy minnows living in it?
well its up to you of course but i bet a dry pool would help your roommate not worry.
