Why are my goldfish in hiding

In the past years whenever i came to feed the fish, they would all come out to greet me
waiting to be fed. opening there mouths
Now for the past few months none come out even when i try to feed them ?
Just hiding, When i start to drain the water then i see them all.

i have pic of them greeting me , but don't know how to include vin post

Pond is protected or netted? Maybe any predators(herons etc) came to visit your pond and now fishes are scared like hell(like must be)...
When you drain water is just terror frenzy into the pond, so they just try to avoid anything will happen

to add photos you have to click on Attach files(down left corner of text part) and after is uploaded you can choose "full image" from the lil menu on top of the pic. :)

Mine went into hiding (for the 1st time ever) for a month. Netted pond, no predators according to the trail cam, but following a sudden cold snap. Now the weather has warmed to 12C they're back to asking for food again. Could it be temperature related in your case?

Doesn't get too cold here and I see mine always,well unless we get a rare moment of ice covering.
