Is this your permanent pond, or is this just your winter pond? If it's just your winter pond I wouldn't go to crazy.
Just an idea to hide some of the liner that hangs out of the pond, you could maybe use some better wood. Cedar would look nice. You could cover the outside and cap the top. Just don't use nails that are too long that would puncture the liner on the inside of the pond. Maybe even some type of fake stone or tile you could glue onto your exixting wood.
You can use black pipe, it doesn't stick out as much as the white. Maybe reroute your thinner pipe closer to the edges to hide it better.
Plants are nice to hide stuff, but since you indoors that's really not an option.

I see all of these posts about indoor ponds. It's making me want one. My wife would KILL me.

Just some ideas. I hope this helps.

the problem with indoor ponds is the dampness they can cause and mold issues if you do not have a way to ventilate the damp air you are asking for mold issues in your home and if you have small children be even more care full as they are more sensitive to mold .

Thanks for the suggestions, Its permanent but its in my garage, the temperature is the same as what is outside, and moisture should be any issue. The plan is to fold the liner inside the pond once it is forced into all the corners.

So you're talking about just flipping the liner over into the water. Are you cutting the excess off? Would some kind of glue work that won't hurt the fish. That would seem like a lot of gluing and work to me. Seems like you would be better to keep the flap outside the pond and just use some kind of trim to hold it in place and put a cap on the ridge all around it.

I wasnt going to fold it into the water, but behind the liner that holds the water. My only worry is the wrinkles in the pond are kind of large at the corners.

Seems like it would have a tendency to flop over or bend into the water w/ it just tucked behind the liner. You gonna attach it somehow to the sides so it can't move? You could put a board or flat piece of something waterproof over the liner on the inside wall and attach the ends of the boards so they make a big square and fit right up against it and hold it down tight. You wouldn't have to put anything through the actual liner, just clamp them on somehow w/ something pretty tight. But then you could do the same thing by putting all this on the outside of the pond also and think it would look much better. I'm just shootin from the hip here if you can tell, lol!

My deck pond, I took the little bit of extra liner, pulled it tight into the corners and used flat roofing nails to attach it to the top of the wood. I.E over the top of the wood.

Mess with the folds, sometimes you can flatten them out by spreading out the area the fold covers, once you have it flattened attach the liner like above. That made my fold behave. Then I just took some wood and covered the edges so the nailed down liner would not show.
