What plant is this?

What is the plant with the really wide leaves on the left side of the image? I thought they were cattails but I have never seen the typical seeds come out of them that cattails have.

You're kidding, right? Is this one of those "how long does it take you to find the cat in this picture?" puzzles?

If you mean the really large clump on the left side amidst all the other green plant life, I'd guess iris.

My apologies, I've been staring at the same plant for awhile so it stood out to me. I'll get a closer picture.
