My neighbors brought me 2 gifts for taking care of there house and mowing there lawn .Driftwood from there south Carolina house and the told me we could stay there for 3 weeks again for free .I know the trust me with there house here for the past 3 years and I mow there lawn .The driftwood logs are really big and heavy they are both over 4 feet long .Then the 2 metal wheels were there other surprise

sticky and hot here but just came in and wind picked up and see the storm headed our way .lots of thunder and dark skies .Getting darker by the minute ,Some weeding done but the thunder is a little close for comfort now and with my luck I am saving myself

Got up somewhere in the 80's here and very pleasant w/a nice breeze blowing. Tomorrow will be the scorcher,maybe reach the 90's. Better get up early for my walk to beat the heat!

I went over to NC to get my truck fixed and Alex was right it was just the speed sensors and I was a little low on brake fluid

bad storm last night and hours cleaning up and then another bad storm before and that is partially cleaned up .It was at least cool out to get it done but I am not finished but tomorrow is another day

After weeks of dry weather, we FINALLY got some of j,w's rain today! We desperately needed it, since mowing the lawn (or rather the weeds) churned up so much dust that you needed a respirator. Hopefully the lawn (or weeds that pass for a lawn) will turn green again. This is the first time EVER that the grass over the septic bed actually browned out!!

I have a tub on the covered front porch and rain that came down blew under and put 3 inch's of rain in it .You can have my rain .Lots of storm damage here .This is the second time in 2 days .I emptied the first one but did not measure it .Even the stock tank that was over half empty is now nearly full

And @HARO you are welcome, welcome, welcome to keep our rain. I am loving your dry weather. It makes me get up earlier and I get to see more critters out there as they are mostly gone when I go later.

Cute bunny, j.w. We had all kinds here last year. Three litters, at least. But this spring a pair of foxes moved into the neighbourhood, and we haven't seen a bunny since! Six cute-as-a-button kits were born under a storage trailer across the road from us, and I run into at least one fox (or vixen) every time I go outside. They hunt for squirrels, chipmunks, mice, voles and shrews in our gardens, around the pond, and even under our deck (10' high). Will post pictures once I figure out how to get them off the camera and onto the confounedputer.

Supposed to get really hot next few days. Above100 degrees I heard. Thats just too hot for me.
Got another weird picture of planet X. It always appears in same location near sun. This time it is a blue dot that is partly éclipsed by maybe one of its moons or something. Look at blue dot and enlarge to see good..

Ah would love to see your foxes @HARO , bet they are cute. Never see those around here. See coyotes now and then. They run when they see me coming, which I suppose is a good thing. Saw tons of baby bunnies this morning.
