Where in the pond was it? Was it floating on the surface, or scooped from bottom...... ?

i was removing some of the weed as it had got over grown so i just pulled some out and these were on a few on the plants that came up.

LOL @ John Huff, Anyways I think it looks like eggs, can you try an pick some up to see if they are all attached together? Are they in or around the pond edge?

they are all stuck together on the stem, and there's none around the pond from what i can see. thanks.

Can you separate one and get a really close up picture of one of whatever it is? I have no idea at all. Almost looks like seed pods of some sort. Did you try opening one up? Do some more examining and tell us what you find.
