What is this creature?

Sorry, wrong pic attached 1st time.. This creature seems to be living in my 9 month old pond. Anyone know what it is? Is it dangerous to my rosy red minnows (Racoons got most my babies but there are a couple left)? Any help appreciated.

Thank you! Definitely a possibly as it looks alot like that. It just seems so big, about 1.5". I'm in Southern California and I have seen dragonflies, which I love, around my pond so hoping that's what it is.

There's definitely strange bugs/larva/etc. that can appear under water! Most are pretty creepy!

Saw a strange centipede-like thing yesterday myself. Other time saw something inching along a rock, about the size of a mechanical pencil tip. Crouched down and got real close and it was some type of incredibly tiny leech!
