What in the world are these nasty bugs in my skimmer and biofilter waterfall?!

The saga continues. What are these wiggly things in the video and the snail like crap stuck on the plastic and slate??!! Are the wiggly things mosquito larvae?

I have some of these also and been told black fly larvae, probably why I see so many black flies around the pond. Was hoping to stick a carnivorous plant our back next to the pond but in UK weather, wouldn't last long.

So they won't hurt the fish then?

So the other stuff is snails of some kind or just their pupa covers?
Also our littlest koi are like four five inches. They won't harm them right?
