These are in my bog. They are getting huge and have no flowers, not sure if they get flowers. But, with this wind, they are falling over. I have 3 bunches in there and already had to cut down one bunch because when they fell, the stems bent. Anyone know what they are?

That looks like obedience plant, gets tons of beautiful purple flowers i think august. The bees love it. It blooms for weeks.

not the best picture, the rest are on my back up hd

They do fall over, you can tie them up, mine stand up some fall over, but I let them grow, love the flowers.

Now they look like this after I cut down the ones on the left


I must get something different next year, these aren't going to make it with the winds we have been having. They are laying on my Carnivorous plants. Actually, they need tomato cages ... lol

Mine are in the back of my bog, they take up a pretty a nice area, but they are so beautiful when they bloom. Put some out in your yard, they grow there, find a spot you don't mind having them. I have them along my fence line. In the rocks around the pond, they make great roots for the fish to spawn in and play in

I'll transplant them somewhere else next year. I'll have to get something else for the bog. Something lower that won't get blown down.
