What are these critters?

I have started the annual task of cleaning up the koi pond, first things first get the debris off the pond floor. These year I have noticed a huge amount of grey earwig like 'insects' an also tiny small silvery / grey looking squid (very slimy) - what are these guys - are they healthy residents in the pond?

it helps us figure out what it might be. We all have different bugs depending on where you live.

I have water bugs, water spiders and some fast moving snake looking things very tiny lol. in the small ponds, in the large one I have just seen water spiders so far.

Probably just part of the pond food chain. Wouldn't think they would be bad for it.

Bugs in the water to me means a healthy pond lol

Thanks for the comments - Once I have cleaned off the blanket weed - started to grow already!! I will try and get some pic's to post

Hmm I seem to have had one of the 1st 3 hatch in my filter last year.
