I have been using well water since we bought our house to fill up the ponds, naturally every time I get it tested it has a higher PH of usually right over 8ph so it's a little hard. I have no filter except for the sediment filter in the pump house and just wanted to make sure that well water is truly a "Fill it and Forget it" water type to use for fish, I have had no problems so far but never really looked into it other than getting the water tested a few times.

What do the experts here think? Thanks :)

Exactly what parameters were tested? Was it tested for salinity, heavy metals, etc.?

Mine has iron in it but has never been a problem with the health of my fish, no salt and no other metals as per the Chatham well water testing report .I test it myself with a store bought test and it is the same
