thanks; forgot to mention the waterwheel is made of sheet steel and the fins are PVC which I heated to shape and cut out and riveted to the steel frame; used about 3 80lb bags of concrete for the waterwheel housing so it wouldn't move when the hounds chase squirrels and rabbits around the yard. The flu, with the water leading to the wheel is made of bedframe rails (my wife threw out an old bed last week and I salvaged the rails and welded them together with an old WWII Marquette stick welder). Eventually I'll add a generator to the waterwheel to generate electricity to power some lights or something like that. I'm learning c++ and arduino so I can program LED lights all around the aqueduct but that will take some time.
Se18, as always look forward to your posts! Please never stop posting and maybe sometime if we're all lucky you'll shoot a video of your whole set up, something tells me the file would be too big to upload tho!
