I have a small (3m x 1.5m ish) wildlife pond - no fish.
In it there are literally thousands of what I think are common Water Slaters (UK). See attached photo.
I have no issue with this and I believe they are good for the pond as they eat all the decaying leaves etc.
Is there any downside to them being there and should I be happy to have so many?
