water lotus help

just wondering when is the latest I can plant water lotus. I am new and live in central CA. Any advice appreciated. Thank you.

Lotus like to be planted before they are actively growing. So it depends on how you are getting the tuber.
In CA you could probably plant it now. The latest depends on the tuber, is it growing or still dormant.
