I guess it depends where your pond is, how big is it, how much sun does it get, what are the temperatures etc. I had a leak, where it was too low of a spot thankfully so water was leaking and was draining in a lower part of the yard, bit hard to spot when there's gravel around the pond, so look for things like that, but a leak like that stops at a certain point.Hi all, new to this so please bear with.
My small garden pond is losing up to 6 inches of water every week, i recently had a new filter but cannot see it leaking anywhere, any input woul be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Just a small pond approx 8ft x 5ft, no plants, gets quite a bit of sunI guess it depends where your pond is, how big is it, how much sun does it get, what are the temperatures etc. I had a leak, where it was too low of a spot thankfully so water was leaking and was draining in a lower part of the yard, bit hard to spot when there's gravel around the pond, so look for things like that, but a leak like that stops at a certain point.
I have no more leaks in the pond, but the reality is water is still gonna evaporate, 6" seems a bit too much though, but you'll need to tell us more details, for anyone to be sure of anything.
